" For the price, this is a remarkably powerful device. Heating up food (enough for one person at least) taken from the refrigerator to 180 degree F in less than an hour. It recommends adding water, I assume to create steam. I put my food directly in the metal pan the first day I tried it, but I felt adding the water made the sauce on my food too diluted. So I placed the food in a glass container, added water to the metal pan, closed the lid and opened the vent. Perfect! The only thing that could make this better is if the lid were metal or glass. The plastic had already absorbed the smell of spices used in the food.

"Wow there's something amazing about leftovers for lunch. Saving money hand over fist. This little heated lunch pail works like a beast. 30-45 minutes and my food is piping hot. Has a nice steam vent and silver ware. Has both AC and DC so it works in the house or in the vehicle. Super easy to clean. The lid locks and seals up so no leaks. Food heats super evenly and tastes so much better than being reheated in a microwave. I can't say enough about how awesome this thing is I just hope it lasts a couple years. "
